The Whytes are having a ball on their journey around Oz! There's been loads of driving, and the kids are travelling really well...considering we have no DVD players or Nintendo DS's!! The "Dinky-di Ausssie Songs" CD has become the favourite start-up music, and Nanna's "travel packs" are a hit...full of junk food to keep them sugared-up for the long trips.
The trip so far has taken us to Keith (yeah nothing there, but the kids love the tobboggan ride), Adelaide (home brew with the lovely cuz Vikki and Marty), dodgy Port Augusta (with pretty views but a noisy freight train waking us during the night), and the underground world of Coober Pedy. Here we witnessed a magnificent storm which brought the first rain they've seen in 8 months...us Whytes sure know how to break a drought!!! The opal tour was great too.
Now we are staying in Erdlunda on our way to Uluru...which we hope to have brekky in front of tomorrow. We can't wait.

(No Yard Duty!!!! YAY!!!) PS - Dad says it's bit hard for our old eyes to read the blog with the dark background. Raining here in Frankston too! Baby stuff for Kez - Nat's little Thomas is also walking a bit now without hanging on - about time too!! Angie's Cameron has been trotting around for awhile. We are watching the Pies & the Cats - early yet but looks a bit tough going for the Pies at the moment. Local news - Neville F. got rushed to hospial this morning with suspected stroke - Danny Zorzi was the ambo in attendance and he stopped by (after the event) to say hello. Said N. wasn't too good. I have been to No 11 but son Brad said they don't know anything yet. Zelda very upset. Gould St. quiet except for our front yard where Minio entertains all visitors in the vegie patch now - even the MICA ambos and the postie!! Hope the adventure continues well.
